Boulevard Coming To Tennessee

Based out of Kansas City, MO, John McDonald started Boulevard after a vacation to Europe in 1984. Amazed by the variety, aromas and flavors, John left Europe inspired to create his own brew. After finishing art school he began homebrewing, put together a business plan and sold his house to raise money for his brewery.

In 1989, John delivered his fist keg to a restaurant just down the street from his brewery. By year three, sales passed 7,000 barrels and by 2004, Boulevard was approaching 100,000 barrels. Ten years later, Boulevard became part of the Duvel Moortgat family in 2014 and has become a top 10 craft brewery in the country.
