We believe that good people and good beer deserve good food, too. Cherokee Distributing Company has long been fond of partnering brewers and restaurateurs to provide our community with opportunities for delicious beer dinners. Tuesday, March 8, will be no exception as Samuel Adams and the Grill at Highlands Row come together to create an evening of beer, food and cheer.

Five courses have been selected to pair brilliantly with five Samuel Adams original and seasonal beers. Each course will be introduced by a representative from the Boston Beer Company, makers of Samuel Adams beer, to educate guests on why each beer goes deliciously with the flavors of the meal.

Here is a sample of the menu for the evening:

First course: Oyster Trio paired with Samuel Adams Noble Pils

Second course: House-made beer cheese paired with Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA

Third course: Highlands salad paired with Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat

Fourth course: Braised short ribs paired with Samuel Adams Boston Lager

Fifth course: Blackberry cobbler paired with Samuel Adams Cream Stout

The dinner will begin with a beer “happy hour” at 6:15 p.m., and dinner will begin at 7 p.m. The event is $45 per person including the five-course meal, beer pairings and a memento from the evening. For reservations, contact The Grill at Highlands Row at 865-851-7722.
