Tennesse Clean Water Network Giveaway

If beer is 95% water, then that water needs to be 100% awesome.

Clean water and clean waterways are crucial to great tasting beer. Without clean water, there isn’t a brewery in the world that can make good beer. The water in Washington County, where Yee-Haw receives some of its water for brewing, is low in mineral content. That’s one of the reasons their dunkel and pilsner are so good! What better reason than beer to ensure our water is clean, right?

Our friends at Yee-Haw Brewing Company have partnered with two local East Tennessee organizations and local businesses to promote and bring awareness to protecting our local and regional watersheds throughout the month of July. Tennessee Clean Water Network is a publicly funded 501(c)(3) that works to “empower Tennessean’s to exercise their right to clean water and healthy communities by fostering civic engagement, building partnerships and advancing, and when necessary enforcing, water policy for a sustainable future.” Along with TCWN, Yee-Haw has teamed up with Syndicate Fly Fishing to help support the cause.

At Cherokee Distributing Company, we are proud to call Tennessee home. There’s no other place quite like it. From the mountains and hills, to the wildlife and rivers and streams, Tennesseans depend on clean water every day. Next time you run a shower, do a load of laundry, or crack open a freshly bottled Yee-Haw beer, remember that it is only possible because we live in a place with clean water. Let’s keep it that way. Raise a pint to Yee-Haw and Syndicate to helping lead the way. Oh yeah, and did we mention you can win a custom Syndicate Fly Rod? Check out the list of participating businesses to visit this month for your chance to win!
