Cherokee Distributing is thrilled to announce that we’ve brought beers by Depot Street Brewing of historic Jonesborough, Tenn., to the greater Knoxville area.
Depot Street Brewing, established in 2004, is a craft brewery located in Jonesborough, Tennessee’s oldest town, about eight miles southwest of Johnson City.
Featured as a local brewer at the 2010 Knoxville Brewers Jam in October, Depot Street Brewing has been available in the Tri-Cities area and in Southwest Virginia, but recently we’ve brought the East Tennessee beers to retailers in Knox and surrounding counties.
We’re especially excited to offer these products in Knoxville because as a local company we’re proud to support other local businesses like Depot Street Brewing.
Here’s what Michael Foster, founder and owner of Depot Street Brewing had to say: “This is a terrific opportunity to expand our loyal customer base and expose more of East Tennessee to quality, locally brewed craft beers. We’re thrilled to partner with Cherokee Distributing Company to bring our brews to Knoxville and the surrounding area. We hope people will enjoy our ‘tastefully engineered beers.’”
Depot Street Brewing products are now available in stores and restaurants in the greater Knoxville area. The selection will include Depot Street Eurail Golden Ale, a light-bodied German-style ale; Depot Street Express Amber Ale, an American-style amber ale; Depot Street Roundabout Rye Stout, a dry Irish stout with a touch of rye malt; and Depot Street Loose Caboose Lager, a Dortmunder-style German lager.
At Cherokee Distributing, we’re fortunate to work with many wonderful beer suppliers to offer an extensive beer portfolio, and Depot Street is a great addition. We hope the brewery’s fans will enjoy the convenience of the expanded availability, and we hope new customers will discover a new favorite beer born right in the heart of East Tennessee.
Look for Depot Street Brewing products, and let us know which one is your favorite.
